I had the fractional co2 procedure completed on 11/18/10 for mild/moderate acne scarring and wrinkles. I am extremely pleased with the improvement in my tone/texture but to date there is little improvement with wrinkles and acarring. I understand that I may need more than 1 procedure, will have the 2nd procedure in January, and that it may take 3-6 months to see improvement in these areas. What is confusing me is the different titles, i.e., Fraxel Repair, SmartXide, Mixto, Pixel co2. Are these just actual names of the brand or are these differing types of the procedure and is any one better than the other for acne scarring? Thank you for your help, Robin I am a little confused.
