Fractional Laser Resurfacing represents the new wave in laser resurfacing and provides incredible results with limited downtime. There have been many advancements in the art of Cosmetic Laser Procedures and Cosmetic Dermatology and Fractional C02 is one of the greatest of this Decade. There are numerous devices that can provide patients with the results they are after and all have similar downtime. The one fractional C02 device that does have a little more downtime than others is the Fraxel Re:Store. You typically with the Deca SmartXide Laser, Ellipse Juvia, and Lumenis Laser you will have approximately 2 weeks of downtime. With the Fraxel Re:Store you will see around 4 weeks of downtime. It is acceptable to see your face looking like it has severe sun burn and this will normally go away after a few weeks but you need to make sure to stay out of the sun during this time.

The Smartxide laser is a great device and does offer incredible results for a reasonable price. It is our favorite laser here at FractionalC02.com and we like it for the alternating spot size and density available. It is also a device that you can move fairly quickly with which helps alleviate some of the pain. We have not heard or seen many cases where the device has malfunctioned and there are no disposables.
