Dr. Howard Murad

Howard Murad, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist, pharmacist, and
Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at UCLA. As a leading authority in skin
health, with a patient base of over 50,000, Dr. Murad was instrumental in
transforming the fields of skincare and dermatology to what they are today. An
industry pioneer, Dr. Murad holds 17 patents, with several more pending. He is
credited as the first to make esthetic products formulated with alpha hydroxy
acids widely available and with many other innovations in skin health. Through his
research, he has identified cellular water loss as the underlying cause for all
health, and age-related conditions. In his Los Angeles based research facility, and
in his Inclusive Health® Center, the Cellular Water Principle® is the foundation for
his Murad Method Program. As an author, Dr. Murad has two successful books:
Wrinkle-Free Forever and The Cellulite Solution.

Dr. Ashley Magovern

Ashley Fowler Magovern, MD received her medical degree from Georgetown
University in Washington, D.C., where she also obtained a master’s degree in
physiology & biophysics. She completed her medical internship at Stanford
University, and dermatology residency at the University of Illinois in Chicago,
where she served as chief resident. Along the way, she had the opportunity to
conduct skin research on the epidermal permeability barrier at UC San Francisco.
She also conducted clinical trials on atopic dermatitis in pediatric dermatology at
the Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She is the author of several
peer-reviewed professional journal articles. In addition to treating skin disease,
Dr. Magovern recognizes that ageless, healthy skin is important to patients.
She will strive to help each patient feel good about their skin and meet their
individual goals..

1. From the 405 (San Diego) Freeway, exit on Rosecrans Avenue, heading West.

2. Continue on Rosecrans Ave., pass Aviation Blvd. and keep going for approximately 1 mile.

3. At the corner of Rosecrans and Nash, turn right (if you get to Sepulveda you’ve gone too far).

4. Half a block down (past McCormick & Schmick’s restaurant awning, past the Theatre Parking sign,
past the Monthly Parking sign), turn right into the second entrance of the gated parking structure.

The sign will read:
THE PLAZA Visitor & Restaurant Parking (immediately before a traffic light).

5. Park in a Visitor space, walk up to the first floor courtyard level and enter the 2141 building lobby.
